Question of the Day: Do sweet potatoes float?
Correct = 2 jumps and float to the flags
Wrong = 1 jump and sink as far as you can then swim underwater to the flags
Warmup in water:
100 IM Kick
2 x 25 position 11.
Review 3 things for Streamline before first 25.
1) Lock your thumb.
2) Squeeze your ears (back of head).
3) Look down (with your whole face).
Review 3 things for Position 11 before second 25:
1) Keep your arms straight.
2) Stay at the surface (even when you breathe).
3) Look down (with your whole face).
Split Up into 2 Groups
Group 1
3 x SL + 3 x Roll like a green bean log with head and feet aiming at the lane lines after the streamline breaks the surface for 5 rolls.
Group 2
3 x SL + Brine your turkey; float like a trussed turkey in the water completely underwater after a friend “spices you up” before you start the streamline.

Diving – Standing dive from the block
Stand with foot with toes curled over the edge. Rest weight on the forward leg.
Second leg is slightly back, though knees are near each other. Lift back heel off the block.
Be Calm.
Be Confident.
Be relaxed.
Swimmer waits until they hear, “take your mark.”
Bend at the waist, grasping the forward edge of the block outside the foot already curled over edge. Use both fingers and thumbs in front.
Look at back leg.
Fart at the moon (to get hips up).
Launch forward when you hear “go.”
