Challenge – Elite:
Do 4 BR kicks on your back where your knees never touch the surface, but your belly MUST.
The belly should remain at the surface of the water; ideally with the belly button over the surface. Do 4 breaststroke kicks keeping your knees underwater.
This challenge works on balance and body control and is extremely difficult to do even for more elite swimmers.
Pay special attention to the belly button and the knees. Your elite swimmers will fail repeatedly before they understand the need to balance and curve their bodies backwards.
Be liberal with your “fails” when one of the pieces violates the challenge.
